The site looks great. So why isn't it converting?
A complete audit of an existing website — yours, or a competitor you're benchmarking — with prioritized recommendations on what to fix. Useful before a redesign, or as a sanity-check on a site that "looks great" but doesn't sell.
Many small business websites have a quiet problem: they look fine, the traffic is decent, but customers aren't actually picking up the phone or filling out the form. The conversion rate audit finds out why. We look at every page the way a customer would — what's the first thing they see, what makes them hesitate, where do they bail — and we hand back a list of specific fixes ranked by how much they'll move the needle.
A conversion rate problem is usually fixable without a full rebuild.
The instinct when a site isn't working is to rebuild it. Sometimes that's right; often it isn't. Most conversion problems come down to a handful of specific issues — unclear value proposition, friction in the form, missing trust signals, weak CTAs. The audit identifies which ones are costing you customers, and most can be fixed in days, not months. If after the audit a rebuild is the right call, we'll tell you — and you can apply the audit findings to whoever builds it.
- 01Page-by-page audit of every key page on your site (home, services, key landing pages)
- 02Heuristic conversion analysis — friction points, trust signals, value-prop clarity, CTA strength
- 03Form audit — every form on the site reviewed for completion friction
- 04Mobile experience audit (most small business traffic is mobile)
- 05Written findings document with prioritized recommendations — high-impact / quick wins called out separately
- 0630-minute walkthrough call to explain what we found and answer questions
- 07One-page priority sheet you can hand to whoever does the implementation
Discovery
A short questionnaire about your business, your customer, and what success looks like for the site. We need to know what "conversion" means for you before we can audit for it.
Audit
We work through the site systematically — every page, every form, every CTA. We document what we find and rank everything by impact. This typically takes a week.
Walkthrough + handoff
A 30-minute call to walk through the findings document together. You leave with a clear sense of what to fix first, second, third.
Does the audit fix the issues, or just identify them?
Identifies. If you want implementation we can quote that separately, or you can hand the findings to your existing developer. The audit itself is intentionally low-cost so the implementation budget can go toward actual fixes.
Can you audit a competitor's site?
Yes — same process. Useful if you're trying to figure out what they're doing right and where they're vulnerable.
Should I do this before or after a redesign?
Before, almost always. A redesign without a conversion audit is a guess. With one, the redesign brief writes itself.
