Figure out who your brand is, before any pixel gets pushed.
A two-day deliverable that puts the strategic thinking down on paper — so the design work, the website, the social posts, and every customer touchpoint all point in the same direction.
Most small businesses skip strategy and jump straight to "make me a logo." Then the logo doesn't feel right, the website copy contradicts the social bio, and three years in nobody can answer "who is this brand actually for?" in a sentence. The Brand Strategy Sprint is the conversation that prevents all that — a focused two-day engagement where we sit with you, ask the questions that matter, and hand back three documents that become the spec sheet for everything else you make.
Why your business needs this before logo work.
Visual identity without strategy is decoration. The studio asking "what should the logo look like?" before they understand who you serve and what makes you different will produce something that looks fine and feels generic. The studio that does this work first will produce something that feels inevitable. The deliverable also pays for itself in clarity — your future hires, your future copywriter, your future agency partner all read the same one-pager and stop reinventing the wheel.
- 01Positioning document — what makes you different and to whom, in a single page
- 02Customer archetype document — who you're really speaking to, in their own words, including the buying triggers that flip them from looker to buyer
- 03Brand voice guide — how you should sound across everything you write, with signature phrases and banned words
- 04A 60-minute working session at the start to align, and a 60-minute walkthrough at the end to hand it over
- 05Editable .docx + PDF versions of every document, in your name (not ours)
Day one — discovery
A 60-minute working session where you do most of the talking. We ask questions about your customers, your competitors, what you've tried, what hasn't worked, and what you wish you could say about your business but haven't found the words for.
Day two — synthesis
We turn the conversation into three documents. You do nothing during this part — we read, we draft, we tighten. The output is what gets handed back.
Walkthrough
A second 60-minute session to walk through the documents together, refine anything that doesn't feel right, and answer questions about how to actually use this work going forward.
Do I have to do a website project after this?
No. The Sprint is a standalone deliverable. Many clients use it as the front-end of a full brand and website engagement; others use it to brief an agency they're already working with. The documents are yours either way.
Can you do this remotely?
Yes — both working sessions happen over video call. You don't need to be in our area.
What if the customer archetype we land on isn't who I thought my customer was?
That happens, and it's usually the most valuable part. The Sprint sometimes reveals that the business is selling to a different audience than the owner thinks they're selling to. Better to find that out in two days than after three years of misaligned marketing.
$1,500. Begin a project below, or book a discovery call if you want to talk through whether this is the right fit.
Your visual identity, as a system — not five experiments
Brand Foundation gives you the complete visual identity: wordmark, monogram, color and type system, the guidelines that explain how to use it, and the editable file kit so anyone touching your brand always uses the right files.
The engine
Most agencies sell you ongoing social media management at $500–2,000 a month. We sell you the engine instead — voice guide, calendar template, post bank, strategy playbook — so you can execute yourself, or hand it to someone for a tenth of what an agency charges.
